Draft Bob Lord for Arizona Democratic Party Chair!

Arizona needs leadership. The state legislature is run by reactionary Republicans, and a right wing partisan has been elevated to the Governor’s office. We need to challenge the Republicans in message, and on the ground. With the resignation of Paul Eckerstrom we need someone who respects the ideas and needs of the grassroots in Arizona. In order to move our party forward we need a proven leader on progressive values. That leader is Bob Lord! Bob took on 10 year incumbent John Shadegg in 2008 and made him campaign hard to keep his seat.  Bob Lord was a candidate who listened to, and respected his grassroots supporters.

Bob raised 1.8 million for his Congressional run. Made thousands of phone calls and developed strong relationships with donors. He made smart choices that made his race competitive. Competitive enough the DCCC invested huge amounts into his race.

Arizona's loss in Congressional district 3 is the ADP's gain moving into 2010.

  3. The rest of the country got their change, while Arizonans were left behind with a legislature full of windbags that don't value education and don't understand what Arizona needs to do to turn around our terrible economy. It's up to us to work to make our own change here in Arizona, and drafting Bob for chair is a good first step.

  4. I expect that Bob will delegate jobs to his Exec Committee and listen to the PCs and grassroots so he can know what is needed. And Get a MESSAGE for Dems.
